Asteros and VimpelCom have perfected an IT support system
B.A.C. (part of the Asteros Group) has completed the next stage in the creation of a control system for incidents and configuration databases at VimpelCom (‘Beeline’ brand). At the moment the Help Desk system supports uninterrupted operation of IT systems for over 20 thousand employees in Russia and the CIS. The incident control system allows a significant improvement in the work of IT specialists, reduces error recovery time and lowers infrastructure maintenance costs.

Asteros creates a ‘turnkey’ IT infrastructure for Sochi International Airport
B.A.C. (part of the Asteros Group) has begun work on a project to create an integrated IT-infrastructure for the new terminal of Sochi International Airport. The opening of the new terminal will allow an additional 2500 passengers per hour capacity and will significantly raise the quality of services for both passengers and airlines. Sochi Airport is one of the largest airports in Russia. In 2007, Sochi Airport serviced around 1.5 million passengers, and in 2008 its passenger traffic is set to increase to 1.6 million people. The existing infrastructure serving passengers and airlines is already working at full capacity. Furthermore, the number of passengers using the airport will continue to rise.
