Asteros launches SAP practice

The Asteros Group has launched a new line of business – SAP solutions implementation. At present, Asteros is a certified SAP partner, has a team of experienced SAP consultants, and is carrying out a range of projects in this area.

In November 2009, the adoption of SAP solutions meant a leap forward in the development of a new range of business- applications designed at Asteros.

Asteros services in the sphere of SAP business-application deployment encompass all stages of the information system life cycle:

• carrying out development work on individual tasks;

Asteros is focused on gaining further expertise in the implementation of SAP solutions for managing key business processes within enterprises: logistics (purchasing, sales, stock and resource management), production planning and management, technical servicing and maintenance, tax and management accounting, financial management, budgeting, consolidation of financial accountability, corporate analytical assessment and information panels for managers.

This new sphere of activity had brought together many certified SAP consultants. The Asteros team as experience of implementing SAP solutions in Nornikel, LUKOIL, RUSAL, Surgutgasprom, Sollers – Naberezhnye Chelny, TVEL enterprises, Arkangelsk Pulp & Paper Mill, Corpus Group, and others. Alena Koshkina has been appointed Head of SAP Solutions at the Asteros Group. Until recently, Alena Koshkina was the Head of the SAP Products Department at GMCS. Alena Koshkina is a practising project manager; she already has over 20 projects under her belt – implementing SAP solutions at enterprises in a variety of different business sectors.

At the moment the Asteros team of SAP-consultants is working on projects at the Novosibirsk Chemical Plant (part of the TVEL corporation) and at the Ostankino meat-processing plant.
