Asteros and GE Security join hands to safeguard airports

B.A.C., (part of the Asteros Group), today announced a distribution agreement with GE Security. For Asteros, this partnership creates new opportunities in the area of security of public facilities: airports, railway terminals.

Under the agreement, Asteros will deliver, install and maintain screening equipment. This equipment helps to detect explosives and illegal drugs at sites that should meet the most stringent security requirements: airports, sea and railway terminals, customs and frontier terminals, military facilities, and oil, gas, nuclear and chemical facilities.

An extended range of special-purpose security solutions will enable Asteros to approach a new market. The agreement with GE Security is a well-judged step in the context of growing requirements for enhanced control and security of public facilities. Asteros is currently implementing projects for installing GE Security equipment at a Moscow airport and at a federal departmental agency.
